Ok I have just finished the first draft of my Asylum Con Report, its comes to a total of 9 pages, I have to do some serious editing and maybe even expand some bits. I will post it one I have added all the pictures and bits to it, not that anyone will probably read it but I spent ages on the damn thing so I am posting it.

 

And I know it’s sad and pathetic but I got my replica of Dean’s ring yesterday, currently wondering if this will become a permanent feature like my Claddagh. I have worn a Claddagh ring in various forms since, well season 1 of Buffy. The one I currently wear is actually from Dublin and is basically identical to the one Angel gives Buffy. Claddagh has been a obsession of mines ever since and I have collected them in all forms. So I think my spinner ring may join my Claddagh ring permanently on my right hand (yes I know I am obsessed.)

 

Of course the best news of this week was Jared and Sandy flying out for Jensen performance to surprise him *squishes* How can anyone not love that, and he calls Jensen’s dad Papa Ackles :) Of course there were sweets and Jared normal enthusiastic behaviour, best bit was starting the standing ovation, also intrigued by the gold ring (Maybe Jensen gave it as a gift, in return for the watch Jared gave him) and introducing Jensen’s girlfriend to Papa Ackles as “His Sister in Law”. Can’t believe he thought he could make himself invisible by wearing a baseball cap LOL. 

 

Can we find out any information on the “Girlfriend” so I can figure out if I am supposed to like her (or at least feel bad for not liking her).   I know her from OTH but that’s not enough to form an opinion on, I am happy for Jensen but the J2 fan is me is sad.

 

Also still jealous of everyone who is getting to see Kane on tour, more jealous of the lovely mara_sho who exchanged actual words with the wonderful Steve Carlson, and for that fact everyone who has seen them in the past. I am firmly behind the plan to get them to Glasgow.

Hi, just a bit of clarification-- I'm sure I saw a picture someone took of Jared with Sandy and some other girl and "papa ackles" and the other girl really was his sister in law, because Danneel was in another photo with them and she was wearing different clothing. Anyways, I wish I was there to see the play!

Ah that would make more sense, have to admit when I looked at the photos all I saw was Jared so I will go and see if I can find this. Yep totally wish I was there as well.

Heh, that would be my picture and my story! It's cracking me up how my very first report of that got everyone to thinking Jared introduced Danneel as his SIL to Papa Ackles! Danneel was WITH Papa Ackles when they met up with Jared in the lobby. All the recaps are at my journal with pictures, if you're interested.

I just checked out your report and yeah it makes a lot more sense when you are not reading it third hand, your report is amazing and your pictures are awesome as well.

I'll read it *g* mine is just as long, I'm actually thinking of posting it in two bits :) I know loads of people have already posted everthing, but I've taken so many notes in that little notebook of mine that I'll be damned if I don't get to share my experience! Besides, it'll be good for you to look back and read in the future :)

Yeah, I'm of the same mind as you. I looked Danneel Harris up on youtube and whilst there isn't much, there are a few interviews and she seems really sweet. There's also a story emerging from Asylum that she came down to visit him at one point and his face totally lit up when he saw her. She's also been to see his play every night and travelled with him whilst he did all the promotion for SPN eg. to Japan. Thats all I've got so far, but it seems like she might be good enough for him, we'll see :P

They are coming to Glasgow next year, I've decided

Thanks dear, I need to get my finger out and finish editing it. I will look forward to reading yours too, your totally right about going back and reading it in future, it will be good to read on a bad day to re-live the squee :)

Spinner rings FTW!

Yeah the more I hear about Danneel the more I like her she is very pretto too.

I have faith they will come to Glasgow next year too then!
