Woo Hoo I am just back from my blood pressure test 130/70!

which is pretty much text book perfect :) don't need to get it checked for another 6 months :D and that was me stressed and worried about it \0/ I got stuck twice for my blood test, my veins are a nightmare but eventually got blood.

I have to phone up for the results on Friday, hopefully they will be OK, I expect my cholesterol to still be high but will deal with that.

I can now relax and enjoy what is left of my day off.

Now onto more pleasant things, I have been absent from the Internet since Thursday evening as I spent the weekend hanging out with the lovely [livejournal.com profile] wenchpixie, it was as expected an awesome weekend, good company, good food and brilliantly good and bad TV in equal amounts, what more can a girl want. Well the bloody daleks but that's another story, there will be pictures once I nab them off wench!  I doubt I will ever tire of Glasgow, if there is one place that could tempt me away from home thats it.

As a result of spending 4 days in Glasgow/Ayr, my laptop still at home in Wick, I am so behind on my flist that there is no way I am going to catch up, please link me anything I need to see.  I will try and catch up but its hard and I do have to go back to work tomorrow :(

Hee benefit of being off work, I am watching Hammonds Blast Lab.  Things I learned from my weekend, Kipling Backpacks rock and have wonderful tardis properties and buses hate me, they pick the day I am travelling to be insanely busy and people follow me at changes.  Thankfully I have booked train for next three trips \o/ which means I can travel with laptop and wheelie case if necessary, I have issues with putting luggage on the bus luggage compartment, mainly because everytime I even consider it my mother pipes up "be careful, it might get nicked".  It happened to my brother one time as well, so yeah tad paranoid.

[livejournal.com profile] wenchpixie  I am compiling an email now, poke me if I don't get it sent tonight!

I am entirely packed and organised for visiting the lovely [livejournal.com profile] wenchpixie  :D the only thing to go in my bag now is my laptop and power supply.

I have a considerable amount of munchies :), seeing as its the bus I may even take travel tablets in the morning, if it is anything like today's very bumpy, stuffy and squeaky bus I will need them.

I have like two month worth of entertainment on my lovely Archos, phone topped up, I got Jim Beavers book which may find its way into my bag.  I think I am pretty much set \0/

I going to turn on loudtwitter so expect random rants about buses till I get home, oh I need to Sky+ things don't I.

Be good lovelies, have fun, I plan to :D

I got my Asylum confirmation letter \0/ I'm number 62, not 63 as expected but that's even better.  Now just to get our J2 photo shoot and Jared autographs, not getting a Jared Photo shoot as I am happy with my Dallas one, that and there's always Vancouver.  I got my train tickets home to get me to Inverness for my flight to Birmingham, I even printed out all my paypal receipts so far.

Is it a bit anal that I have all my travel info/tickets etc organised in piles, in order of when I am off, what can I say I like to be organised LOL

I have somehow managed to hurt my big toe today, we had a bus driver that drives like a bat out of hell today.  I was attempting to adjust my coat as you do, I pushed my foot onto the foot bar for leverage and obviouly pushed a bit too hard.  Something cracked, its not broken or anything but is painful if I straighten it or stretch it.  It was painful to walk on after I got off the bus.  I think its getting better but if it get worses tommorrow I can get it checked out at OHD.

I am slowly downloading Becoming Human, I need to get the rest of Castle and Dollhouse.  I need entertainment for the bus on Friday.  Oh I must remember to Sky+ Doctor Who, Red Dwarf and Skellig plus anything else that might be of interessted ha ha.

Am so looking forward to hitting Glasgow and hanging out with [livejournal.com profile] wenchpixie  for the weekend :D

Oh and I totally cant decide what phone I want, I took a shine to the Samsung Blackjack II that was on Fringe yesterday, theres so many, but I have to admit none of the smart phones are really that pretty, I love my U9 and am so not ready to part with it.  I just want something I can put online.

I just watched the first dvd in Asylum 2 dvd set, its great, lovely to see the guests and bring back great memories.

I do wish I could hear the questions better, I can figure out mostly what they are from the answers, I guess you cant film everything at once :)

I haven't got my confirmation letter yet :( stupid postal service, my roomie got hers.  I have booked the rest of my travel up till the end of June \0/

Supernatural this week was great once again :D

Now back to veggie in front of the tv LOL

I have sorted my Asylum hotel for the 28th, its been added to my booking but its gonna cost me, suppose that's what's happens when your staying at the Hilton.  Nothing else major happening, tomorrow is free shopping trip, does mean getting up at 05:14 but that's no a new thing really, typical thats its supernatural day and I am going to spend it 200 miles away from my computer, at least I will have it to look forward to when we get home.

SUPERNATURAL SEASON 5!!!!!! I know everyone else has already done this but what the hell. I never doubted it for a minute, ask my Asylum roomie, I basically refused to believe even the possibility of cancellation as all the signs pointed to renewal.

Almost better news than Supernatural renewal is that ITV's Demons HAS BEEN CANCELLED :) Thanks to Phil refusing to do a second series, he looked at the reviews and realised it was bad for the career. I suffered through all 6 episodes basically just for Phil even though his character was pretty much a bastard, that was before my Life on Mars obsession kicked off, now that's dedication for you. Now I just have to wait for Ashes to Ashes to come back, ain't no Life on Mars but a girl has to take what she can get LOL.

I hate season finales, Leverage has gone and left me now, :( I have been trying to spread the love and was posting about it on a forum, everyone seems to think it sounds like Hustle, Hustle I have never watched but I know it does not have Christian Kane or Aldis Hodge or Parker!!!!! need I say more.

I have been buying crafty stuff today! I am going to make a scrapbook of my cons, gigs, fan girls experiences in general. It is what I had my large copper book made for so I may as well get on with it, I have had fun looking for photo corners, stickers, alphabets and journalling ideas.

I possibly had other things to say but I feel the call of fanfics :) mainly things that follow on from this picture :D

My current fav picture )

Seriously I remember when I used to carry over 8 days leave to the next year and when I had enough leave to take a two week holidays to make cards, then again that was before I started travelling all over creation LOL.

Its only 20/01/09 and I already have 22 of my 29.5 days planned WTF!  My boss laughed at me when I sent him the email with dates last weeks, what I'm an organised girl, and thats being sparing with it.

So far this year I need 2 days for John Barrowman in Glasgow with BB, I have just booked our hotel.  [livejournal.com profile] wenchpixie  I will be solo for the Friday evening so am open to any plans.  Also I was thinking, I know we discussed planning a trip to Glasgow once I got some leave, I do have a long weekend in April which would work.

I am taking 3 days for Asylum, this is why I booked my flights tonight as it means I can get down on Friday and then home on Monday with Tuesday to recover.  I would have loved to travel with the rest of you girls but I just cant afford the extra days, even if the flight wasn't cheap.

I need most likely 4 days for Take That in Coventry with the lovely [livejournal.com profile] cenea , am very much looking forward to Birmingham/Coventry and the swishy hospitality tickets :)  I wont get home till most likely 22:00 on the Thursday so Friday is out, unless I can get an earlier train/bus, will probably book my flights once you sort out the hotel dear.

Vancouver \0/ I am planning on taking a full 10 days, depending on the flight times etc. I might not get home till late Wednesday and if Dallas was anything to go by I will need the extra days to get over the jet lag LOL, its flexible though.

I have planned for MPH09 :) have pre-booked the same three days off as last year but that's open to change.

This leaves me with about 7.5 days for the rest of year, 3 of those I could take to make up the Christmas holidays.  Meaning I have 4 days spare :I I like to have spare days for medical/dentist appointments and emergency.  So much for the idea of just having a week off to do nothing LOL.

My only concern is that I may have to miss out on other things because of this, I wish I had more leave for the year.  Now all I need to hope is that there will be no issues with this leave, H my work colleague isn't off on any of these days so I don't see how it could be.

I am home, I have been home for just about 2 hours, I am typing this from my bed, where I plan to spend most of tomorrow.

I am tired, sore, still very cold from Inverness but incredibly happy.  I will do proper squee filled post tomorrow but I just want to say I am home, I am alive and I had an amazing weekend :D
angelnetgirl: (Yay)
I'm going to FORT WORTH with the lovely [personal profile] wenchpixie

have booked major things like flight and [personal profile] wenchpixie has sorted out the hotel.

I will most likely need to book a hotel in Glasgow for travelling down on the Wednesday, will organise that closer to the time.

So so very excited!!!!

Now I need to finish getting organised for going off to John Barrowman tomorrow!   Cant wait to see the pretty in concert, we have covert operation planned for afterwards to obtain autographs.  BB wants to get her Captain Jack style coat signed, will have to locate shop that sells sharpies.

I emailed [personal profile] wenchpixie, [personal profile] mara_sho, [personal profile] kitty_cat89 and [profile] smeckles90 a while ago about meeting up this Friday.

I didn't hear back so I assume everyone is busy.  I will be around from tomorrow to early Saturday so holler at me if you see me as I ain't always that observant :)

EDT:  WE HAVE GOLD PACKAGES *SQUISHES [personal profile] wenchpixie*

I meant to post this ages ago but I forgot.

I am pretty sure, no convinced now that when I was sitting in Starbucks in Glasgow waiting for the train home on the mammoth Jason Mann's trip I saw Billy Boyd :D

I was people watching while enjoying my frap and in comes Billy Boyd with is wife/girlfriend a little boy called Jack (I heard the mother shout his name).  I did a double take and then he caught me starring at him, he went to sit down and I lost sight of him so went back to spacing.

I looked up a few more times and twice more caught his eye, all the time trying to decide if it was him.  By the end I had decided if it wasn't he had a clone.  If I had fangirl reinforcements and he wasn't having a day out with his family I may have been brave gone over (stalked him) or found something for him to sign.

What made me bring this up today, I was watching Something For The Weekend this morning and he happened to be on and someone happened to ask him about kids.  To which he replied " I have a two year old son called Jack"  and I promptly started pointing at the TV shouting I did see him in Starbucks, very nice he looked too.

So one claim to fame I can have... I Saw Billy Boyd in Starbucks.

Happy New Year!

Mines wasn't particularly exciting or anything, took it with my Mum.  Then when she went to bed I went to play on my computer and them watched some Top Gear till about 04:00 me thinks.

I really don't enjoy New Year, up here its just another weekend which gives all the drunken idiots another excuse to get rat arsed and be a bunch of knobs.  I have no problem with people enjoying a drink but drinking to get so drunk you don't know what your doing etc never appealed to me.

But never mind that, here's to a great 2008!  Must get organised, I think by this time last year I had booked the flights for Asylum.  Are we still doing Brighton in February guys, think we will need to organise travel for this trip as don't think doing it at the last minute will do.

I also need to organise my John Barrowman trip and I am sure that will just be the start of it.

The best things of 2007 was getting to meet and hang out with so many fellow fan girls, looking forward to more of the same in 2008 and of course Asylum :D

My monster torrent has finally finished downloading, I can now look forward to watching series 1 to 8 of Top Gear in all it glory *glee*
