Apr. 25th, 2009 11:03 pmI may have downloaded and paid for (shock!) my favourite piece of software ever, Bulk Image Downloader.
I only stumbled on it by accident when looking through Firefox add-ons. I saw the words "Download full sized images from almost any thumbnailed web gallery, including web forum attached images." and thought I am having some of that, it stated I need to have BID installed first, I went and investigated. The software was easy to come by, but only the trial version. After downloading I basically decided it would save me from the dreaded Right Click and Save As till my hand falls off.
As a result I decided I had to have a registration code, the only way to do this was to pay for it.
I am really not disappointed, it saves the full size images at a speed I can not compete with. Best bit is you can download two pages at once and then queue up as many more as you wish. Now when it comes to great con images I dont have to go from page to page saving and clicking to get the full size image before saving. All i need to do in firefox thanks to the add-on is right click and choose the right option or shift+d to download the current page and shift+q to queue it up. Sounds like am selling this dont it LOL, I am just excited to have found it :D
I have other things to post about like awesome shoes but I am too busy playing.

I am trying to work out what to get signed at Asylum3, I have the 10x8 as part of my package and I will be taking some old photo shots, J & J CD plus Season Guides. But now after seeing some of the new Richart prints I WANT, I have some of the other prints but new ones are really gorgeous.
I am tempted to get this one signed by Jensen and Jared

I didn't buy the big Asylum3 print because I don't have the wall room, that and I don't know if it would fit in my case, I am tempted to measure both and see what I can get in. It would mean I would need to take my larger case but I might need that anyway, that and as I am flying most of the way the size of the case isn't really an issue. I was tempted to go up to three signatures each for Jensen and Jared but I think its just a bit greedy, if I get the print I might have to though.

Today was HARD!!!!!

I knew today was going to be mad at work, Thursday is the second planning meeting of the week, my work colleague who normally does all the planning and work control stuff is off to London till Tuesday. Meaning I am doing both jobs, one of which I don't do often making it more stressful than normal. Otherwise I would have booked today off, no other cover so I had to work.
Add to that it being the 16TH OF APRIL, more specifically the day all Asylum attendees exploded. I managed to use up my entire phone battery attempting to get on-line on my phone and checking my messages/twitter/googlemail. I sent our email for Friday Autos but hadn't heard anything by home time, might have been a mistake using work email but I had no other access to email until lunch time which just wasn't going to work. Has anyone heard yet?
Eventually got J2 photo shoot \0/, got it during the second load. It was really hard waiting for someone else to get them, I think I prefer being in control and knowing exactly what's going rather than relying on someone else. I almost cant believe it actually happening,
I didn't get Jared, that mainly because I decided I didn't need Jared as I am happy with my Dallas photo shoot. Then when we were having J2 issues I decided maybe I should get a Jared one but then they sold out. Its cool though as I don't really need one, if I decide I really want one I can get one it at Asylum3 or I may just get one at Vancouver, you can never have too many Jared pictures right. I did get a Jared Autograph tonight, I am planning to get him to sign my Dallas photo shoots :) some of the others can sign the group one as well.
As a results of all these things I still have a stack of work on my desk I would normally have sailed through. Meaning tomorrow probably isn't going to be any easier, good job it Friday! I am going to watch ER and unwind :Do

which is pretty much text book perfect :) don't need to get it checked for another 6 months :D and that was me stressed and worried about it \0/ I got stuck twice for my blood test, my veins are a nightmare but eventually got blood.
I have to phone up for the results on Friday, hopefully they will be OK, I expect my cholesterol to still be high but will deal with that.
I can now relax and enjoy what is left of my day off.
Now onto more pleasant things, I have been absent from the Internet since Thursday evening as I spent the weekend hanging out with the lovely![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
wenchpixie, it was as expected an awesome weekend, good company, good food and brilliantly good and bad TV in equal amounts, what more can a girl want. Well the bloody daleks but that's another story, there will be pictures once I nab them off wench! I doubt I will ever tire of Glasgow, if there is one place that could tempt me away from home thats it.
As a result of spending 4 days in Glasgow/Ayr, my laptop still at home in Wick, I am so behind on my flist that there is no way I am going to catch up, please link me anything I need to see. I will try and catch up but its hard and I do have to go back to work tomorrow :(
Hee benefit of being off work, I am watching Hammonds Blast Lab. Things I learned from my weekend, Kipling Backpacks rock and have wonderful tardis properties and buses hate me, they pick the day I am travelling to be insanely busy and people follow me at changes. Thankfully I have booked train for next three trips \o/ which means I can travel with laptop and wheelie case if necessary, I have issues with putting luggage on the bus luggage compartment, mainly because everytime I even consider it my mother pipes up "be careful, it might get nicked". It happened to my brother one time as well, so yeah tad paranoid.
wenchpixie I am compiling an email now, poke me if I don't get it sent tonight!
