I have returned, well I returned on the 12/03/07 but I have been too lazy to post before now, I am back to work now so it’s back till reality again :( This might me a really long post as I started it last Friday so it about two weeks of rubbish rolled together.

First and most important I just booked the double photo shoot for Asylum, I know I hate having my photo taken and I cant smile or be expected to be coherent in the presence of Jensen/Jared but I want a souvenir to show that I was actually there, and I will try for the single photo sessions as well, I am glad so many were available on pre-order as I don’t fancy queuing for it in the early hours of the morning :).

I successfully managed to get to Dundee and home solo without any issues at all (I secretly think none of my family believed I would go), I actually quite enjoyed the bus journey, its was quiet on all 6 buses I had to take, next time I could do without the hours wait in Inverness on the way home, sitting in a cold bus stop for over an hour isn’t really fun (I’m good at it but its not fun).

Dundee was great, its was fantastic seeing BB for more than a few hours, the hill she lives on however is horrible, walking down it alone killed my little toe, I have the remains of a very nasty and painful blister as a result. The shopping was good, next time I think I will do down during the week so its is quieter.

Shopping wise I managed to spend over £400 in two shops on jewellery. On the Saturday I only window shopped but come Sunday it was much calmer and I couldn’t resist going into Beavers Brook where I got seated service (obviously saw pound signs when I walked in).

I spied the most gorgeous heart necklace and bracelet so I tried that on, if anyone knows there jewellery it is based on a Tiffany necklace and Paul Kennedy eseque. It is basically made up of tiffany style hearts which alternate from pointed out to in and has a lovely large Heart as the clasp, the bracelet matches but I am waiting for it to arrive by special delivery as it was too tight but they put in extra links and sent it to me for no charge (I think I will be back there). Bracelet has since arrived and it is gorgeous.

I also bought a gorgeous blue and lilac enamel pendant from the Ortak shop. I could have bought more things but I didn’t want to have to lug anything bulky or breakable home on three buses (that and BB informed me after I had spent my money that’s it’s the equivalent of 2 months of there rent *ops*).

It still doesn’t beat Glasgow in the shopping stakes, Glasgow has Forbidden Planet and two designer jewellery shops I can think of off the top my head and L’occitane and the promise of the Leather shop at the airport tells me I am going to have to save some money post convention.

I got in my quota of Starbucks, I even sat there for an hour before catching my bus home as BB had to work from 12:00. Surprisingly giant bean bags are quite comfy to sleep on if you can get into the middle, they mould to you and are just the right size for my height.

We managed to make it to the pictures as well and saw the brilliant Hot Fuzz, my Simon Pegg love has grown expentially. It’s just a completely brilliant hilarious film. I can’t wait to see it again, the relationship between Simons and Nick characters is just lovely, great slash element and so sweet. The show down is the most amazing thing I have even seen.

As a result of being off I am kinda out of the loop and I haven’t caught up on any TV yet. Of course it is Supernatural Friday finally so new episode tonight when I go home, I am so on that. I have obviously now seen Road kill and I thought it was a good episode, love the premise, the execution wasn’t quite spot on and the dialogue is this episode was off for both the boys (who wrote it?) but overall I still enjoyed it, I know some people have been very negative about it but as far as I am concerned as long as my boys are there doing there thing it can only be good :) Really looking forward to getting home tonight and downloading the new episode, I have managed to avoid all the directors’ clips and spoilers etc, I just know its going to be HOT!

I am nearly up to date on all my TV watching apart from a few, Bones is fab as always but I have to say I am not a fan of Brennan/Sulley, don’t get me wrong he’s a great character and they are sweet together but I have been waiting so long for Booth and Brennan to get it together these new love interests just annoy me, the snarkiness between Sealey and Sulley is good though.

Now the next thing I need to do is book my travel to Glasgow for May (train is about £27 so that’s good) and then sort out hotels for trip in October for Damien Rice. Also need to sort myself out with a id type thing for Asylum and make my list of what I need (I like to be organised in case you cant tell, and I am going to attempt to pack light) and gather together all my travel info like how I get from train station to hotel in Coventry and between our hotel and con hotel. When I have cash I need to go on a dvd/cd/book splurge as I am so behind. I also need to order a whole whack of new clothes and track down some decent trousers as they ones a bit knacked.

So what have I missed, anything major. I need to see Jensen’s Jimmy Kimmel interview, I have seen caps and *shock* he looks gorgeous.

On some random notes I cant believe the general public didn’t vote my Colin Murray into the finale for Fame Academy, TPT WTF seriously if we are going on singing merit it should have been Shaun the Tricia, I get that she is vulnerable and likeable in a mad way but she cant sing and Colin always just made me happy. Finale of Dancing on Ice tomorrow *claps hand* is it wrong that I am excited by this. Doctor Who is back soon, I am trying to get excited and be positive, but so far the only thing I am interested in is Jack :)

I need to sort out my brother and sister etc with Heroes, Prison Break and Lost (not that I have watched the last few yet), I am totally confused as to who has seen what or what I have seen for that matter. I ended spending the whole of Saturday and Sunday doing this, I hope they appreciate that its isn’t a quick process doing these DVDs.

I need to start watching 24, my brother has leant me the first season on DVD and I haven’t got round to it yet, that and I need to squeeze in Dark Angel before May and play catch up with Smallville once I get my Multi Media Player. I want to be totally gened up for May so I might have to force myself to watch Supernatural all over again (again :) not that I really need to but for research purposes it will be worth it.

I hold up my hands, I am addicted to Avril Lavignes new song Girlfriend, every time it plays I want to turn the radio up really load and rock out like a total dork. It is stuck in my head and I love it.

Fellow flist lovelies who are attending Asylum con, is anyone actually doing the fancy dress thing for the parties, I don’t know how easy it would be to get a costume with me for the distance I need to travel but I discovered last night on EBay this, the most incredible pair of Purple Angel Wings, now these are not cheap and they are from America so importing them might be costly but god I want them, I have always hankered after a pair of Angel wings (If I ever had the bod for a tattoo this would the type of think I would have, that and if I could stand the pain). I know this is the type of purchase I can’t use frequently but I would probably wear them at home to cheer myself up (is that strange) and they would look great hooked over a chair or something in my room, I would probably have to get fairy wings as well then though.

Also the awesome news that Jason Mann is playing on the Saturday, do we think he might convince Jensen to sing with him, I actually think I might die if he did. All we need now is for Kane to show up with Mike Rosenbaum and Tom Welling and we have every RPS fans wet dream. Must email my con room mate over the weekend, I suck at emails lately, I seem to be so tired when I get home at night, by the time I go through my friends list and sort out downloads I don’t have the energy for anything, I haven’t even read fanfic in ages, just the occasional wincest or rps if it catches my eye.

I might if I am feeling brave do a photo post later, I sent some to my roomie for the con and I may as well inflict them on you guys, will probably friends lock it as I don’t want my mug plastered over the net, might make it sort of asylum con intro thing with mobile number etc, its amazing how close May seems now, might be starting to freak out just a little bit. I was going to ask, see it says that autographs sessions go in ticket number order, does that mean I am going to be stuck freaking out on my own as I turn into a dribbling moron. How does it work normally, I’m number 115 I think.

I am freaked out that we might not know if Supernatural is renewed until after the con, I really would like to enjoy it without having to worry about season 3 but I am not too concerned so far, I think we have a great chance as we have held our own in the timeslot from hell, cant wait for the comic to come out and the season 1 guide, may also have to order the new Buffy season 8 comics as I cant not know what happens.

At home they have finally started wall papering the stairs, it’s only taken what 2 years, looks very nice though. That and Mum and Dad have managed to locate extra floor and wall tiles from the bathroom so it looks like the bath is history and we can finally get a cubicle show, cant wait, not really a bath fan, even if I have a vast collection of bath bombs to use. I can’t wait for our new swish shower. Speaking of things that need done, I still have a stack of pictures to get framed and hung up, plus doctor who plates etc and other things that are just taking up room.
