I have no subject for this, its just bad
Sep. 11th, 2007 09:30 pmOk, really not having a good night.
I got home and there was a message to phone my bank, I have been having issues with them declining orders from a certain online company so I thought it was the same thing.
After being on hold for about 10 minutes I got through to the fraud department. They said there was a routine check on my account due to some recent activity, I thought she was going to say something about the £24.99 to Movie Tyme which she did. She then went on to list a whole pile of payments I didnt make and were then declined.
£300 to easyjet
£210 to t-mobile
£400 odd for some entertainment system
something to stagecoach
attempted cash withdrawls of £204, £400, £710
and others on top.
Thankfully none of these payments were processed, my card has now been cancelled and the new one is on the way.
I was literally shaking when I came off the phone, I think it might be someone at Movietyme selling details as the first time I phoned the guy said there had been problems with them, or its been cloned somewhere but I havent used my card anywhere lately. I am scared somone has hacked into my computer but I have Norton etc running.
I need a hug now or something, I dont even want to think about the number of places I am going to have to contact to update my card details, I just feel totally freaked out :(
Normally I would have a bit of retail therapy to make myself feel better lol.
