Doctor Who
Apr. 15th, 2006 09:18 pmOK initial post regarding tonight's doctor who, thoughts and opinion's may be more concrete once I watch it a second time in peace, my family
pick the best time to congregate in the sitting room and talk to me and around me, I even re-winded to start after about 5 minutes but didn't really catch that much more the second time around.
After watching the episode and confidential I have to say I want to cry, and probably will when I'm on my own watching it, my doctors really gone *sniff* and I don't like it, there was so many bits in tonight episode that tugged at my heart cause nines really gone and now I have to adjust to a new doctor, no-one seems to get this, I need to mourn my doctor before I can embrace ten. the line where ten says "further then we've ever gone before" sent me straight to gutter but because I could immediately see nine saying it with that smile and that was the first time I wanted to cry, there were many points after that, when Rose says she love traveling with him, says he is so different and goes on about there first date *SNIFF*.
As I knew Tennant cant do angry doctor anywhere as good as Chris, there is just something so scary and sexy when Chris gets mad, so far I have seen nothing to change my opinion that Chris is the superior actor.
Right OK, things I like, I loved ten being possessed by Cassandra camp as a row of tent, fab. I can definitely say this that I like Tennant as ten but didn't laugh hardly and certainly didn't grin along with him like Chris. his performance doesn't pull out the same gut reactions yet but I did come away with a mild case of the warm fuzzies and given time I can even admit to finding him attractive, I loved his look in Blackpool as I have said before. so given time I will come to like and maybe even love ten, highly doubtful it will ever surpass my love of Nine and Chris and I don't see my self becoming a 10/rose shipper immediately but that may change.
The up and coming episodes look great, I squee every time I see ASH and everything else looks fab, next week should be god and I will say it again, I would love him so much easier if he was allowed to be SCOTTISH!!!!
Doctor who confidential killed me, no Simon Pegg, you were right BB must be too expensive now. they played regen clips and cold plays Fix You for about 5 minutes and I was so nearly in tears, who am I kidding I was I just kept it controlled.
No doubt I will have more comments where good or bad once I have watched it again and digested, that's after I watch the new episode of supernatural which is burning on my computer now, I gave in to the lure of the torrent, hope I don't get another scary email, so I will watch that first and drool over Dean and Sam and have inappropriate thoughts about brothers and then I will be ready for doctor who again, might have to fit in some wincest/Slash/Fanfic somewhere.
oh I finished my mood theme, that was a bugger, having to load each picture individually but it was worth it. I am going to give Time and Chips etc a wide berth as all the squeeing and OMG will be defening, i will hopefully be able to join in soon
