Things are a bit quiet around here...what with have my flist being away at the Steve Carlson gig, looking forward to all the pics and vids and squee filled posts when everyone gets back :)  Its almost as good as being there, I said almost :)

I have spent most of the day checking out travel options to Northampton for The Hub, got it all worked I think.  I am planning on a General Admission ticket as £175 is a tad more than I can afford at the minute, seeing as I have spent £280 on the Fort Worth ticket plus a whole lot more on flights etc.  I did some research on hotels as well in case I cant get into the Park Inn.   Now just to find out if the lovely [personal profile] openskies wants to enjoy the John Barrowman fabulousnesses with me :) I may be getting con fever.

Enjoyed Doctor who as normal...the shout out to Season 1 "are you my mummy" made me laugh and then kinda sad :) not commenting on the preview of next week except to say WTF!!!

I am so happy we get Top Gear back on June 15, is it very sad that I was worried they were going to start it when I am off to the con in June.  I have seen some pics of some features they have filled, look hilarious as normal.  Anyone get any clue when there likely to announce if all three boys are doing Top Gear Live?  Still need to decide whether Birmingham or London, travel buddies and a roomie would be nice.

Speaking off travel buddies :) Asylum in next week, by Thursday I will once again be on my way to Glasgow to hang about Borders (that will be fun with a trolley case) and eventually make it to [personal profile] wenchpixie to mouch on her couch :)  I really need to think about my wardrobe, as in what I am taking to wear, planning on travelling light, makes changing trains etc easier :)

Supernatural was great as normal, emotional episode again, kinda wish they left a certain name out of the titles but nevermind, eagerly awaiting the rest of the season, worried about what mess I might be in by the end though lol.

I'm still waiting to hear if all three will sign on for MPH Australia - If they can fly all the way to Japan next weekend, surely they can go a little further and come here....

What supernatural are you up to?

Yeah its not like its a hard ship for them to travel, I am sure they can do it for the fans :)

I just saw the latest one Long Distance Call last night, should be fun watching the next episode as the convention next week :) I am spoiler free so it makes it all the more exciting!

I love your header, by the way :)

The last one I saw was when they were in the prison and they were surrounded by demons outside. It hasn't come back on our screens yet :(

I'm in France on the 15th of June - waaaaaaaaaaaaah, cancel the holiday! I hope I can set the recorder in advance for it.

Oh, I'll definitely love to meet up with you if you go to MPH in London, as I said before :) I know of a couple of others who I'm hoping to be about too, but nothing confirmed yet.

[identity profile] angelnetgirl.livejournal.com 2008-05-04 12:28 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh no, totally not fair, hope your recorder behaves itself, I shall be guarding the sky+ from anyone that thinks there going to be watching anything else.

I really need to sit down and look at hotels for London and travel options, navigating London solo may be fun, and by fun I mean scary obviously lol.

[identity profile] cenea.livejournal.com 2008-05-04 09:11 pm (UTC)(link)
I hope it behaves too :)

I'm good(ish) with navigating London, so maybe I could help out there a bit...which station do you come into? We could meet there, maybe. To be honest, I've not given any of it much thought yet, apart from that I might kip at my parents, but that's a good hours journey from the centre...I'd better get my act together, I guess!!

Well it depends if I want to fly, train or bus it, possibly the sleeper to london from Glasgow, of course have to get to Glasgow first which is an 8 hour train journey in itself :) If its the train I assume its Euston :D

Living all the way up here, any trip takes a lot of planning!

[identity profile] cenea.livejournal.com 2008-05-04 09:23 pm (UTC)(link)
Help - you certainly do have a long way to come! And there's me fretting about getting there from Southampton, which is an hour and twenty minutes direct on the train :P

[identity profile] angelnetgirl.livejournal.com 2008-05-04 09:42 pm (UTC)(link)
Yep I am about as far north as you can go before you fall off the end LMAO :) the sleeper train to London will be another 9 hours, the bus is the same, flying would be quicker I think but much more expensive. Most people dont know how easy they have it lol
